Who Will Not Be Affected?
If you travel by local trains or hold a Monthly Season Ticket (MST), don’t worry, your fare remains the same.Also, if you’re travelling in ordinary second class for a distance up to 500 km, there will be no increase.
What Are the New Indian Railway Ticket Fares?

Why the Hike?
This is the first fare hike in several years.
