Popular YouTuber Rachna Gurjar, known for showcasing her jewellery online in her social media videos, became the target of a carefully planned midnight theft in Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh. Locals and online users are now discussing whether the frequent online display of jewellery and valuables may have unintentionally drawn attention.

The case has sparked concerns about security in rural areas as well as the risks linked to online visibility of personal belongings. Police have launched an investigation and are scanning CCTV footage from nearby locations to trace the accused.

Midnight Entry While Family Was Asleep

According to reports, the incident took place late at night when the family was asleep inside their home. The incident took place under the Narwar police station limits.

Unidentified burglars allegedly entered the house by cutting through the boundary fencing. After entering, they reportedly locked the room from outside, restricting movement of the occupants while they carried out the theft.

CCTV Cameras Misaligned During Theft

One of the key points in the case is the way the burglars handled security cameras. Preliminary findings suggest the accused:

Turned CCTV cameras upward to avoid capturing footage
Broke locks of cupboards and storage units
Moved inside the house without triggering alerts

This has led police to suspect that the burglary was well-planned and executed with prior knowledge of the house layout.

Gold, Cash and Jewellery Worth Lakhs Missing

The stolen items reportedly include:

₹1.91 lakh cash

Four gold rings
Silver ornaments including traditional jewellery pieces
Other household valuables

Interestingly, the thieves also took a crate of cold drinks before escaping the scene. The total loss is estimated at around ₹7–8 lakh.

Victim Found Room Locked from Outside

Rachna Gurjar reportedly realized something was wrong early morning when she found her room locked from outside. After getting out, she discovered that cupboards had been broken open and jewellery and cash were missing. She immediately informed the police.

Rachna Gurjar is a known social media content creator who often shares videos showcasing her lifestyle, including jewellery, festive looks, and home setups. Police have also clarified that all possible angles are being examined as part of the investigation.

Police Investigation in Full Swing

A police team has begun collecting CCTV footage from surrounding areas and is working on identifying the suspects. Authorities are currently:

No arrests have been made yet, but officials say progress is being made in the case.
