A dramatic confrontation near a college campus in Pune has sparked widespread debate online after a father was seen physically confronting a student accused of harassing his daughter. Student Allegedly Harassed Woman for Two Weeks

According to preliminary reports cited by NDTV, the young woman, a student at MIT ADT University, had reportedly been facing online harassment and stalking for nearly 15 days.

The accused, identified as a student from D Y Patil College, allegedly targeted the woman through various digital platforms, causing significant emotional distress.

After enduring the harassment for several days, the student eventually informed her father about the situation.

Confrontation Near College Campus

Following the revelation, the father accompanied his daughter to the area near the campus to identify the accused individual.

Reports suggest that when the alleged harasser appeared at the location, the father initially tried to speak to him and resolve the matter peacefully. However, witnesses claimed that the student responded arrogantly and continued his provocative behaviour.

The situation escalated quickly, and the father lost his temper. In the viral video, he is seen tackling the youth to the ground and physically assaulting him in front of onlookers.

Mixed Reactions Online

The video has generated intense discussion online. Many social media users expressed sympathy for the father, saying his reaction was driven by concern for his daughter's safety.

Others, however, argued that physical violence is not the correct way to address harassment cases, and that authorities or college administration should have been involved earlier.
