PUBG lite pre-registration now open: How to register, expected launch date, rewards and account details

Krafton India has started pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India Lite (BGMI Lite) on the Google Play Store for Android users. The lighter version of the popular battle royale game is currently expected to launch by the end of 2026, with an initial download size of around 1GB.

BGMI Lite Pre-Registration: How to Register
Android users can follow these steps to pre-register for BGMI Lite:


Step 1: Open the Google Play Store and search for the official BGMI Lite listing. Make sure the publisher shown is Krafton.

Step 2: Click on the Install button to complete the pre-registration.

Step 3: If preferred, enable "automatically install while over WiFi only" so Google Play can automatically install the game when it becomes available.

BGMI Lite Pre-Registration Rewards

Players who sign up ahead of the launch will have a chance to receive exclusive pre-registration rewards. Krafton is expected to reveal more details about these rewards soon.

BGMI Lite Account and Progress
Existing BGMI players will not need to create a completely separate account to get started with the Lite version. Players with an existing BGMI account can simply pre-register and begin playing once BGMI Lite is released. Their items and progress will simply cross over to the lite version from BGMI, allowing players to continue their experience without starting from scratch.

BGMI Lite Cross-Play Support

BGMI Lite will also offer cross-play compatibility with the original BGMI version. This means players using the Lite and standard versions will still be able to team up and play together.

BGMI Lite iOS Availability

For iPhone and iPad users, Krafton has not yet announced details regarding the availability or pre-registration of BGMI Lite. More information for iOS devices is expected to be shared at a later date.
