Ponniyin Selvan-2 (PS-2) is scheduled to hit theatres this month. The second installment of Mani Ratnam's magnum opus now has an anthem - Ponniyin Selvan anthem. Ponniyin Selvan-2's music director AR Rahman has released the Ponniyin Selvan anthem.

Ponniyin Selvan anthem's Hindi version has been sung by Arijit Singh and Benny Dayal. The Tamil version has been sung by AR Rahman and Nabyla. Ponniyin Selvan anthem eulogizes the Chola empire and depicts its glory.




Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan-2, which hits theatres on April 28, will release in 4DX.

Ponniyin Selvan 1 was released on September 30, 2021. The movie received positive responses at the box office. It eventually became one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies of all-time.

The film is based on five-part 1955 eponymous novel authored by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Ponniyin Selvan 1 had a cast of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Sobhita Dhulipala.
