Priyanka Chopra’s homeware brand “Sona Home” subject of heavy backlash for outrageous prices
The actor’s recently launched homeware brand, “Sona Home”, was slammed by fans over the ridiculously steep prices of products.

The Sona Home collection features several items such as table linens, dinnerware, bar, and décor, among others. While her brand drew appreciation for the elegance and beauty of its products, it is the steep prices that the internet can’t stop talking about.
A Reddit user posted, “PC’s NYC restaurant SONA launches “SONA HOME”. I went broke just scrolling through those prices.” Users felt that the brand was an attempt to rip off customers by exoticising Indian culture and selling things at prices that can only be described as “ludicrous.” Another user wrote, “This frankly is catering to rich westerners and elite Indian NRIs who are often hosting Bollywood events to be in kahoots….”
According to the official website of Sona Home, the “Panna bottle coaster” costs approximately Rs 3,800, while other products such as the “Panna Round Tablecloth” costs a stunning Rs 31,421. Some other products on the website include an oval platter ( Rs 15,631), A Panna table lamp with shade ( Rs 7,750), and a set of four dinner napkins (Rs 13,263), etc.
On the professional front, the actor will next be seen in the upcoming web series, “Citadel”, which will be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. “Citadel” is an upcoming sci-fi drama series directed by Patrick Morgan, starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, amongst others.
