In the early hours of Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the scientists responsible for the success of India's latest lunar mission, the Chandrayaan-3.

While addressing the minds behind the moon mission, the Prime Minister got visibly emotional, expressing national pride and jubilation. He highlighted the significance of India's accomplishment in space exploration, stating, "India is on the Moon. We have our national pride placed on the Moon."

PM Modi virtually joined the ISRO scientists during the landing of the Chandrayaan-3; he was attending the BRICS summit in South Africa. The Prime Minister then travelled directly from Greece to Bengaluru to pay his tribute to the remarkable ISRO team.

Prior to his visit to the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) facility, PM Modi addressed a gathering outside the HAL Airport. At the airport, he remarked, "Not only Indians but people across the globe who believe in science, who see the future, and are dedicated to humanity, are filled with enthusiasm."

Chandrayaan-3 landed on the moon on Wednesday evening, carrying the Pragyan rover, which has since exited the lander module Vikram and is exploring the lunar surface on the dark side of the moon, which falls near the South pole of the celestial body.
