Prayagraj is likely to experience fog or mist during the early morning hours on Sunday, November 1, as weather conditions gradually improve following rainfall over the past few days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius for the city, with mainly clear skies expected over the coming days.

According to the IMD's local weather forecast, fog or mist is likely during the early morning hours on November 1. The minimum temperature is expected to fall to 19 degrees Celsius, while the maximum could reach 27 degrees Celsius during the day. The weather office has forecast mainly clear skies from November 2 onwards.

Prayagraj weather: Rainfall recorded in the past 24 hours

The recent spell of rain has brought changes in temperature and increased moisture levels across Prayagraj. According to the IMD's weather report dated October 31, the city recorded 5.5 mm of rainfall in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 am that day.


The maximum temperature on October 31 stood at 26.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 21.2 degrees Celsius, which was 3.2 degrees above normal. Relative humidity was high, reaching 96% at 8:30 am and 90% at 5:30 pm.

The increased moisture in the atmosphere is consistent with the forecast of fog or mist during the early hours of November 1.

Prayagraj weather forecast for the coming days

The IMD has indicated a gradual improvement in weather conditions, with mainly clear skies expected from November 2. The maximum temperature is forecast to reach 28 degrees Celsius on November 2 and 3, before rising to 29 degrees Celsius on November 4.

The minimum temperature is expected to remain between 18 and 19 degrees Celsius during this period. Clear skies are forecast for November 5 and 6, with maximum temperatures likely to remain around 28 degrees Celsius.

Residents can therefore expect relatively mild daytime conditions, while early mornings may continue to feel cooler as November begins.
