PRAGATII 2022 exam announced by NTA under Education Ministry's Study in India programme; check schedule

The PRAGATII 2022 exam has been announced by the National Testing Agency, NTA, as part of the premier Study in India, SII, programme from the Ministry of Education. International students might apply for UG and PG admissions in Indian Higher Education Institutions through SII for the 2022–2023 academic year. Today, July 11, a formal announcement concerning the PRAGATII 2022 exam was made on nta.ac.in.

The Education Ministry intended to showcase India as a leading education centre for students from abroad through the Study in India initiative. Students will be offered scholarships to pursue their further education in India through the Performance Rating of Applicants through the Global Aptitude Test for Indian Institutes, or PRGATII exam, based on their performance.

NTA has availed the PRAGATII 2022 exam admission cards available on the official website pragatii.nta.ac.in. Students can use the direct URL provided to download the hall ticket if they have signed up for the exam through the SII programme.


A standard online exam for students applying for scholarships to study in India is the PRAGATII exam, formerly known as the Indian Scholastic Assessment or Ind-SAT. The PRGATII exam will be given on July 31, 2022, following the NTA's notification. The whole programme is available here.

Exam dates and schedule for PRAGATII 2022

• The admit cards contain the details of the examination time. The exams will be 90 minutes long.
• Exam type: online, remotely supervised
• Instructional language: English

• Mock examinations: July 23 and July 27, 2022.

The exam will be divided into three sessions, and each session's specifics will be listed on the students' admit cards. NTA has been given the task of conducting the PRAGATII 2022 exam for UG Admissions 2022 and PG Admissions 2022 by the Ministry of Education.
