Prachi Nigam, UP Board 2024 Class 10 topper, who was trolled for facial hair, excels again with 91.2% in Class 12

Prachi Nigam, the Uttar Pradesh student who rose to prominence after topping the Class 10 board exams, has once again showcased her academic brilliance. In her Class 12 exams, she scored an impressive 91.20%, reaffirming her strong academic standing.

Outstanding Subject-Wise Performance

In Class 12, Prachi delivered exceptional scores across multiple subjects. She secured 99% in Mathematics, 96% in Hindi, 95% in Chemistry, and 93% in Physics. However, English remained comparatively weaker for her, where she scored 73 marks.

Focus on Engineering Entrance Preparation

According to reports by Live Hindustan, Prachi revealed that she had been preparing for engineering entrance exams like JEE, which may have contributed to her relatively lower performance in English.

Rise to Fame and Online Trolls

Prachi first gained national recognition in 2024 after topping the UP Board Class 10 exams with an outstanding score of 591 out of 600. Despite widespread praise, she also faced online trolling over her facial hair.

Prachi’s Response to Criticism

Addressing the trolling, Prachi said, "After the announcement of results in UP, there was an outburst of trolling. While there were people who trolled me, there were also people who supported me. I thank everybody."

She further added, “But however God has made me, I am fine with it. It does not make any difference even if you think that there is a difference because Chanakya too had been trolled but he didn’t care, neither do I.”
