Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer mythological drama Adipurush has reportedly got a release date. The much-awaited film will hit the theatres sooner than expected. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan release has been postponed and Adipurush will likely be released earlier than the expected date of June 16.

However, there has been no official confirmation that Adipurush will be released on June 2.

Adipurush trailer release date

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are likely to release the trailer of the movie on May 9 at a grand event in Mumbai. The trailer is expected to be 3 minutes long which will take the audience on a journey of Ramayana.

The report also revealed that the Adipurush team will host a special screening of the trailer for Prabhas' fans in Hyderabad on May 8.

It said that the screening of the trailer in Hyderabad will be in 3D and this is being done as the team believes that fans are the support system for any movie.

However, the report further added that there will be no change in the release date of Adipurush and the film will hit the theatres on June 16 as was announced earlier.

Ahead of the release of Adipurush, the film will campaign for 37 days which includes multiple promotional events and the release of the devotional songs in the album after the release of the trailer on May 9.

The movie Adipurush is based on the Indian epic Ramayana and is directed by Om Raut. Prabhas is playing the character of Lord Rama in the film and Kriti Sanon plays Sita in the movie. Saif Ali Khan will play Ravana in the film Adipurush
