Ponniyin Selvan OTT release: Here's all you need to know

Ponniyin Selvan: The period drama has been released on Prime Video, and users can watch the movie by paying Rs. 199 for a week. You can watch the movie from November 4 onwards on Prime Video.

The film is based on the Chola Empire. It is set in 969 AD and shows Pandiyas swearing to make the royals bleed and chieftains of the Chola Empire planning a mutiny. The movie has lots of action and its plot revolves around war, political unrest, and riddles. Will the wild prince Aditya Karikalan or rebel Pandiya Amarabujanga succeed Arunmozhi Varman and become the new king? B. Jeyamohan, Elango Kumaravel, and Mani Ratnam co-wrote the movie, and it is the first part of the two-part novel Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Subaskaran Allirajah and Mani Ratnam made the film under Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies banners.
