Polish woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann is not the missing girl, confirms DNA test
DNA tests have revealed that a Polish woman, who claimed to be Madeleine McCann, is not the same person who went missing in 2007. Julia Faustyna, 21, had claimed that she may be McCann due to their shared age and appearance. Faustyna went to great...

Private investigator Fia Johansson revealed the DNA test results and confirmed that Faustyna is 100% Polish, with a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian ancestry. Faustyna had accused her mother of hiding her ancestry and changing the subject whenever she asked about her birth, and also claimed that her mother was not pregnant in any photos she had seen. However, her parents denied the allegations, saying that Faustyna had stolen her own birth certificate and childhood photos to support her false claims.
Since 2011, police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine have spent about $16 million till now on Operation Grange and are expected to receive $370,000 in new funding for the probe into what happened to the abducted girl. Meanwhile, Faustyna, who is also known as Julia Wendell or Julia Wandelt in some reports, has stated that even if she were not Madeleine, she would still not want contact with her Polish family. Madeleine’s parents have not commented publicly on Faustyna’s claims.
