POCO F5 India launch: F5 Pro Global appear on Geekbench; Check specifications

POCO is expected to launch its F5 series either in April last or early May. Two models are anticipated in the series - POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro, however only POCO F5 will make it to Indian markets, according to reports.

POCO F5 comes as the successor to last year's POCO F4. Now that, the two latest offerings from POCO have appeared on Geekbench, it has also unleashed the specifications of the two.

POCO India's Head, Himanshu Tandon, hinted at the launch of the POCO F5 in a cryptic tweet and confirmed through another tweet that the phone will only come in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage configurations, based on a poll among his followers.


This suggests that the POCO F5 might be the only POCO phone to have a 256GB variant, as the X and M-series may not have it.

POCO F5 Indian Variant

According to a Geekbench listing, the POCO F5 Indian variant with model number 23049PCD8I has achieved a single-core score of 1118 points and a multi-core score of 4236 points.

The listing also indicates that the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and will run Android 13 as its operating system. The SoC's clock speed is 2.92GHz, with 3 cores running at 2.50GHz and 4 cores running at 1.80GHz.

POCO F5 Global Variant

Geekbench has revealed that the POCO F5 Pro Global variant, identified as model number 23013PC75G, has achieved a single-core score of 1302 and a multi-core score of 4080.

The phone is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (possibly 8+ Gen1) processor, which can reach a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz, and will have 12GB of RAM. Additionally, the POCO F5 Pro is anticipated to run on Android 13 as its default operating system.
