PM Modi gave tips to students on how they can deal with continuous taunts of parents about his gaming habits. PM Modi said that parents often stop kids from playing games or watching mobile and TV, but at the same time praise their achievements across the neighborhood, and advised students to engage in activities that would make their parents proud. "Parents would have always suggested you to not play and instead focus on studying, but when you win a medal, your parents will tell everyone. Your success becomes their pride, and they will always support you," PM Modi shared with students.
The Prime Minister advised students that they should not just waste time playing games, rather start creating them. "You will not become a consumer but a producer. Your gaming habit will become productive, not just time-killing. You will find that parents will start automatically supporting you," he said.
PM Modi also advised students to create their own social media profiles and embed traditional Indian stories in their games. "Your parents will be able to connect with you, and will be more glad in supporting you. Don't waste your time just because mobile data is cheap in India, focus on gaming as a skill and build your expertise in it," PM said during Pariskha Pe Charcha.

The remarks of PM Modi came two days after three minor girls, all sisters, who died by suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of their building in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The girls were reportedly addicted to Korean web series, TV shows and Korean lover game, which assigned them tasks, an initial police investigation revealed. The girls were reportedly upset after their father snatched their mobile phones and asked them to stop Korean dramas.
'Move out of your comfort zone'
PM Modi told students to step out of their comfort zone and stressed that students should focus on time management during Pariskha Pe Charcha interaction. First thing, you should believe in your study pattern. Listen carefully to suggestions and check if they are required or not. Just like in PPC, I have changed my pattern now and extended it to the states," the Prime Minister said. PM Modi urged students to "trust their own study patterns" while remaining open to advice, stressing that "success comes from balancing self-belief" with continuous learning. While interacting with students, PM Modi said, "Listen to everyone's advice, but change your pattern only when you want to. I have become PM. Still, people tell me to work in different ways. But everyone has their own pattern," PM Modi said. "Some people study better in the morning, some at night. Whatever suits you, believe in that. But also take advice, and if that benefits you, then only add it to your life structure."
"Cultivate the mind, then connect with your inner self, and then choose whatever subjects you want to study. Then you will always find the student to be successful," he said.
The 2026 edition of Pariskha Pe Charcha focussed on helping students remain stress-free during examinations and encouraging a stronger emphasis on learning.
