Char Dham Yatra is highly regarded by Hindu followers. It covers four major holy sites in Uttarakhand. This pilgrimage starts from Badrinath and goes through Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.

The gates of these holy places will soon be opening, with the gates of Kedarnath Dham scheduled to open on April 25, followed by Badrinath Dham on April 27. As for Yamunotri and Gangotri, they typically open on Akshaya Tritiya, which falls on April 22.

As per Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, 1.6 million devotees have already registered for this year's event. Additionally, CM Dhami recently sent off a team of service personnel who will assist devotees during the Kedarnath Dham Yatra. The Chief Minister also assured that all necessary preparations have been made for the Char Dham Yatra to ensure that the devotees have a convenient and hassle-free experience.

Char Dham Yatra 2023: IRCTC Packages

IRCTC has introduced its 11 days 12 nights packages from Mumbai, Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Indore, Raipur, Indore and Patna. The tours are scheduled to commence on May 1, 2023. To book packages, pilgrims may visit the IRCTC tourism official website.

Char Dham Yatra 2023: Cost

For those departing from Mumbai, the starting price of the package for triple occupancy is Rs 67,000 per person. However, for those departing from Delhi, the starting price is lower, at Rs 59,360 per person. Departing from Indore or Bhopal, the starting price is Rs 62,100 per person. Finally, for those departing from Patna, the starting price is Rs 67,240 per person.
