Pet dog bites child in Ghaziabad apartment elevator, owner watches on

'Where's the morality,' asks a Twitter user, attaching a clip of elevator footage from a Ghaziabad society. In the video, a small dog is seen taking a bite at a kid, even as the dog's owner looks on.

The incident reportedly took place in the city's Charms Castle society on Monday evening, according to footage posted on the microblogging site. The affected child is already in the lift, when an older woman walks in with her pet dog on a leash; as the kid moves to the front of the elevator, the dog jumps up and bites him on the leg.



While this happens, the owner is unperturbed, even as the boy jumps around in agony. People on the internet have called out her behaviour, with one user saying, "Shame, she is much bothered for the dog than the kid who is in utter pain. So ruthless lady must be punished [sic]."

The account that posted the clip claims the footage is from Charms Castle, Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad and has also tagged local police, asking "where is the moral code here just cos no one is looking?[sic]"
