'Pathaan' Box office Collection Day 30: Shah Rukh Khan’s film crosses Rs 1000 crore club
'Pathaan' starring Shah Rukh Khan has been in theatres for over a month. Today, the film will compete with Akshay Kumar’s Selfiee.

Pathaan's box office collection, on the other hand, is around Rs 502.10 crore, placing it just behind “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”, which earned Rs. 511 crores in the Hindi market in 2017. 'Baahubali 2' is the highest-grossing film in Hindi history.
'Pathaan' reached the Rs. 1000 crore mark on Day 27 and became the fifth Indian film to do so. Dangal, Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2 and RRR were the previous Rs. 1000 crore films. Pathaan’s success was a welcome change for Hindi cinema, which had a rather dull year at the box office the previous year. Aside from a few hits like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, The Kashmir Files, and Drishyam 2, few films were able to attract large audiences.
The film marked Shah Rukh Khan’s triumphant return to the big screen as a leading man. He was last seen in 2018’s Zero, which did not go over well with his fans. Shah Rukh will also appear in Atlee’s Jawan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki this year.
So far, 'Pathaan' has had little competition in the theatres. Previously, it appeared that the release of 'Shehzada' and 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' would have an impact on the Shah Rukh Khan film, but Pathaan managed to maintain its box office dominance. Pathaan will compete with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s Selfie on Friday.
