Pakistani woman journalist slaps boy on camera; video goes viral
On the 9th of July, a female journalist in Pakistan was reporting on the festival of Eid Al-Adha. The video that went viral on social media shows her slapping a teenage boy on screen.

On July 9, the woman journalist was reporting on the festival of Eid Al-Adha. That was when she slapped the teenage boy on camera.
While she was talking about the holiday on camera, the teen appeared to have said or did something which prompted the journalist to slap him across the face.

A day after the video was posted on Twitter, it got over five hundred thousand views and more than four hundred retweets.
A lot of people failed to understand what provoked the journalist as the video did not show any other part of the situation. Most of those who responded said they were confused. Others immediately took the stand that violence is wrong and that she should not have slapped the teen.
