Ansha, the daughter of legendary Shahid Afridi, and Pakistani bowler Shaheen Afridi got married on February 3 in Karachi. The news was announced on Twitter by Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistani cricketer. While posting pictures from the wedding, he wrote, “Daughter is the most beautiful flower of your garden since they blossom with wonderful blessing. He also said that a daughter is someone you can laugh, dream with, and love completely”.

Shaheen Shah Afridi and Ansha Afridi's wedding guests were all-rounder Shadab Khan and captain of the Pakistani squad Babar Azam. The group congratulated the newlyweds and also posted pictures and videos of the "nikah" ritual.

Star pacer for Pakistan Shaheen Afridi has not played since World Cup in Australia in November 2022, where Pakistan advanced to the finals but fell to England. He had hurt his knee during the competition. The left-arm bowler, who is a major wicket-taker for his team, underwent an appendectomy in the same month. He was not there when Pakistan lost the Test series to England in Karachi, which led to the nation's first-ever series rout. In addition, Shaheen Shah Afridi won't be playing for Pakistan in the ODI against New Zealand.
