Pakistani journalist appeals to government
The Pakistani journalist has urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab Maryam Nawaz to intervene in the matter so that his brother could be found. In a detailed video on X, Sanaullah, known for his sharp views on the administration of Pakistan cricket, revealed that he has registered a complaint but not much has been done by the police.“In this video, I will be making a request to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Six hours before this video, my brother has been kidnapped from the Park View Society in Lahore at around 1 PM. We have registered a police complaint. I am, by chance, in Australia and why am I in Australia? There are some problems that I do not want to discuss in this video,” he said.
“Six hours have passed but nothing major has been traced so far. I would also request IG of Punjab Police to take quick action so that my brother can be recovered,” he said in the video.
Why was Sanaullah Khan's brother kidnapped?
Fans have alleged that Sanaullah Khan's brother was kidnapped for questioning Mohsin Naqvi. According to social media claims, Amanullah Khan, also a journalist had asked some tough questions to Mohsin Naqvi regarding bulldozer action against Poor Slum Dwellers.Sanaullah Khan was allegedly targeted by the Pakistan army for inviting Vikrant Gupta during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, forcing Sanaullah to leave Pakistan and settle in Australia. There has been no official response from either the police or the PCB on the matter.
