Pakistani actor Ushna Shah gets trolled for ‘dressing up like an Indian bride’

Ushna Shah reacted angrily to those who criticised her wedding attire. On Sunday, the actor shared an Instagram story photo of her bridal mehendi and red wedding outfit. She stated to those who were objecting to her wedding attire: “you were not invited”. She further stated “My jewellery and jora (wedding attire) are entirely Pakistani. My heart, on the other hand, is half-Austrian. May God keep us happy, Allah humein khush rakhey aameen”.

Ushna Shah, a Pakistani actor, recently married golfer Hamza Amin in a private ceremony. The newlyweds’ videos and photos are going viral on the internet. The actor wore a stunning red bridal lehenga designed by Pakistani label Warda Saleem for the wedding ceremony, while the groom wore an ivory sherwani. Social media users, on the other hand, mocked the actor for ‘dressing up like an Indian bride’.




Another user added that why Pakistani brides began to dress in such styles as this is not their way of life.

The third user wrote, “They are deceiving people by promoting Indian culture as Pakistani culture. We should not tolerate it because it undermines our own culture, traditional values and religious values”.

In December last year, the actor announced her engagement to golfer Hamza Amin.
