OTT releases this weekend: Check out these movies, web series to release on these platforms on December 16

The weekend will be packed with entertainment such as 'Govinda Mera Naam', 'Code Name Tiranga', 'The Pact Season 2' and several others shows and movies will be at your disposal.

After various movies with patriotic sentiment, Vicky Kaushal ventures into the foray of comedy with his latest project, 'Govinda Mera Naam', he will share the screen with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. Alongside, we will also see the Harrdy Sandhu and Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Code Name Tiranga'.

The latest B-town flick, 'Govinda Mera Naam' revolves around Vicky Kaushal as a typical 90s Bollywood leading man. The film focuses on the charming character of Govinda Waghmare who tries to strike a balance between his wife and his girlfriend. The film will be an engaging comedy of errors. The cast includes Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.


It's a Shashank Khaitan directorial which will see a release on Disney + Hotstar. The film will be available for viewers from December 16.

Furthermore, 'Code Name Tiranga' will see the confluence of Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu. It's a movie about reconnaissance which showcases the story of a patriotic and fearless spy who will fight for the pride of her nation even if it costs her last breath. It also stars Rajit Kapur, Sharad Kelkar and Shishir Sharma. The film will be available from Dec 16 on Netflix. This film is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.

On Lionsgate Play, viewers can stream the new iteration of The Pact. It stars BAFTA award winner Rakie Ayola in the leading role.
