Oscars 2023: AR Rahman hopes 'Naatu Naatu' wins 'Best Original Song' award to 'Lift India Up'

AR Rahman, the celebrated music composer, recently expressed his desire for the song 'Naatu Naatu,' which has been nominated for the Best Original Song category at the Oscars, to win the award. He believes that any award for an Indian artist will 'lift India up' and help increase the concentration of the country's culture.

Rahman has also stated that he wanted the song to win a Grammy as well. Earlier, when the Oscar nominations were announced, Rahman spoke in an interview and praised the film industry for breaking through prejudices and achieving a huge accomplishment.
