OPPO Reno15 Series India launch on January 8: Expected price, specs and camera features

OPPO announed on Friday that it will launch the Reno15 Series on January 8 in India. Continuing the same philosophy as its predecessors, the Reno15 series will also be a camera-focused smartphone lineup aimed at travellers and photography enthusiasts.

The smartphone maker has confirmed that both the Reno15 Pro and Reno15 Pro Mini will feature a 200MP Ultra-Clear main camera, paired with a 50MP 3.5x telephoto portrait lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view.

OPPO said the setup is designed to deliver sharp, natural-looking images across varied shooting scenarios, from street photography to landscapes and portraits, while maintaining accurate colours and realistic skin tones.


The Reno15 Series also debuts AI Editor 3.0, introducing tools such as AI Portrait Glow, which adapts lighting styles based on the scene, and AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo for refining motion shots after capture.

Additionally, the standard OPPO Reno15 brings several AI-powered imaging features to a wider audience, including AI Portrait Glow and AI Motion tools, backed by a 50MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto portrait lens.

The OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini is expected to feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is also to likely to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC with 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It might also pack a 6,200mAh battery and 80W fast charging.
