OPPO Reno 15c, the cheapest Reno smartphone, with AI camera now available in India

OPPO has opened pre-orders for the Reno 15c, the most affordable smartphone in its Reno 15 series, in India. Interested buyers can pre-book the device via Flipkart and OPPO India’s official website, with offline availability also confirmed.

As part of the launch offers, customers can avail a flat discount of up to ?3,500 using select debit and credit cards from multiple banks on Amazon and Flipkart. Additional benefits include no-cost EMI options and exchange deals.

Price, Variants, and Colours
The OPPO Reno 15c is available in two RAM configurations, both paired with 256GB internal storage:

• 8GB RAM variant priced at Rs 34,999
• 12GB RAM variant priced at Rs 37,999

Positioned as the entry-level model in the Reno 15 lineup—which also includes the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini—the Reno 15c is the most affordable option in the series.

The smartphone is offered in two colour choices: Afterglow Pink and Twilight Blue.

Display, Performance, and Software
The Reno 15c features a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, delivering a compact yet premium viewing experience.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box and comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Cameras and Battery
Photography is a key highlight of the Reno 15c. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup, consisting of:

• 50MP main sensor
• 8MP ultra-wide camera
• 2MP macro lens

On the front, it houses a 50MP selfie camera capable of 4K video recording. Camera-centric features include Pop Out, AI Flash Photography 2.0, AI Portrait Glow, and AI Motion Photo Slo-mo. However, the lack of a telephoto lens may be a drawback for some users.

Fueling the device is a 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, making it well-suited for users prioritising long battery life and quick top-ups.

Availability
The OPPO Reno 15c is scheduled to go on sale in India on February 5, expanding OPPO’s Reno portfolio to four models. With this lineup, OPPO is clearly aiming to cater to multiple price points within the premium mid-range segment, offering buyers a wider range of choices based on size, performance, and budget.
