Oppo said the Reno 15 series will combine “powerful hardware and Oppo’s PureTone Technology with intuitive AI features.” Both the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are confirmed to feature a 200MP ultra-clear main camera, which the company claims is designed to handle a wide range of travel photography scenarios.
The primary camera will be accompanied by a 50MP 3.5× telephoto portrait camera, positioned close to the 85mm portrait focal length. Oppo said the lens offers true 3.5× optical zoom and is designed to deliver clarity without distortion for both close portraits and distant subjects.
The phones will also include a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view, enabling the capture of expansive scenes with consistent colour, exposure and detail. For selfies and group photos, Oppo said the Reno 15 series will feature its Golden ultra-wide portrait perspective to maintain natural facial proportions at everyday shooting distances. The Ultra-Clear Group Photo feature processes each face individually to ensure sharpness and balanced lighting, even when subjects are positioned at different depths.
Oppo confirmed that the Reno 15 series will come with AI Editor 3.0. According to the company, the AI Portrait Glow feature analyses scenes and adjusts lighting based on conditions such as low light, backlighting or uneven illumination, applying lighting styles including Natural Light, Flash Light, Rim Light or Studio Light. The AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo tool converts motion shots into motion photos to help refine moments after capture.
