OPPO A6s 5G launches in India: Check price, specifications, features and more

OPPO on Wednesday launched a new smartphone is its A Series portfolio called the OPPO A6s 5G. The device is said to focus on battery life, performance and camera capabilities in the mid-range segment.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the OPPO A6s 5G runs on ColorOS 15. It also comes with AI GameBoost for better gaming performance and AI LinkBoost 3.0 for better network connectivity if you're in a low-signal environments.

OPPO said the device is optimised for smooth performance across everyday tasks such as app switching, scrolling and photo capture, backed by its Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine.

It features a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,125 peak brightness.

The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor with a 2MP secondary lens. The device also includes a 5MP front camera with a natural beauty mode for selfies and video calls. OPPO said the camera is optimised for low-light photography and portrait shots.

What steals the show is its 6,500mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 22.4 hours of video playback. The device supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, capable of charging from 1% to 41% in 30 minutes, according to OPPO.

In terms of design, the OPPO A6s 5G measures 8.61mm in thickness and weighs around 212 grams. It has a unibody metallic frame and a flagship-inspired design.

OPPO A6s 5G price and availability

The OPPO A6s 5G is available in two variants: 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. It is priced starting at Rs 18,999 and is being sold via Amazon, Flipkart, the OPPO Store and offline retail outlets. It comes in Aurora Gold and Plum Purple colour options.

As part of the launch offers, customers can also avail an instant cashback of Rs 1,000 and up to three months of no-cost EMI on select credit cards.
