OnePlus Nord 3: From launch timeline to key specs, here’s all you need to know

There is a possibility that the OnePlus Nord 3 will be released in India and other countries in the near future. Therefore, the phone has been the subject of multiple rumors and leaks. According to an informant, OnePlus has initiated testing of the Nord 3 in India and other parts of the world, and there is some indication of when the phone might be launched, its approximate cost, and a few of its significant features.

Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), who is deemed as a trustworthy source of information, tweeted that OnePlus is currently testing the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone in both India and global markets. According to the tweet, the phone is expected to be released within the next six to eight weeks, placing the launch window between mid-May and mid-June.

The tipster also provided details on the phone's expected specifications, stating that the OnePlus Nord 3 is predicted to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone is rumored to be equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G SoC. The rear camera setup is likely to be composed of a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The front-facing camera will presumably have a 16-megapixel sensor.


It is rumored that the OnePlus Nord 3 will come with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, in addition to the previously mentioned specifications. Brar also speculates that the phone's price in India may fall within the range of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000.

An earlier report stated that the OnePlus Nord 3, anticipated to be the successor of the OnePlus Nord 2, released in July 2021, could come with a maximum of 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
