Agarbatti, mantras and Elon Musk’s photo; Bengaluru men’s unusual puja goes viral, hail him as ‘evictor of feminists’

A group of men in Bengaluru has drawn attention online after a video purportedly showing them performing a puja for billionaire Elon Musk went viral on social media. The men, associated with the Save India Family Foundation (SIFF), reportedly held the ritual under the banner of Men’s Life Matters, paying tribute to the Tesla CEO with incense sticks and chants. The video shows participants holding agarbatti in front of a photograph of Musk as they recite mantras praising his actions. The gathering appears to celebrate the billionaire’s approach to managing X, formerly Twitter, following his acquisition of the social media platform.

Bengaluru group hails Elon Musk as 'evictor of feminists'

In the video, the participants can be heard referring to Musk as the destroyer of “Wokashura”, a term apparently combining “woke” and “asura”. They also describe him as an “evictor of feminists”.

The group reportedly recited chants including “Om Twittereshwaraya Namah”, “Om Elon Muskaya Namah” and “Om Feminist Evictoraya Namah”. Other chants included “Om Twitter Cleaneraya Namah”.

Twitter had around 7,500 employees before the acquisition. The workforce was subsequently reduced significantly as Musk reworked the company’s operations. The video has circulated widely online, drawing attention to the men’s unusual way of expressing their admiration for the billionaire.
