South Korean shooter Kim Yeji, who gained fame during the Paris Olympics, has landed her first acting role as an assassin in the series 'Crush'. She will star alongside Indian actor Anushka Sen. The project is a spinoff of the global film project ...

Kim Yeji rose to fame during the Paris Olympics, not only for winning a silver medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event but also for her distinct shooting style and icy demeanor, which earned her comparisons to characters like James Bond. Her appearance in a black tracksuit and baseball cap attracted significant public attention.
Elon Musk took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to suggest that Kim should be cast in an action movie, saying, “She should be cast in an action movie. No acting required!”
In “Crush,” Kim will share the screen with Indian actor and influencer Anushka Sen. Sen posted about the collaboration on her Instagram, sharing a video where she struggles with a pistol until Kim steps in to adjust her stance. Sen expressed her excitement in the post, writing, “So happy to collaborate with [Kim], Olympics silver medalist; the most popular Korean shooting player in the world,” while confirming the project’s global scope.
Asia Lab expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, looking forward to the “potential synergy that will arise from Kim Yeji and Anushka Sen’s new transformation into a killer duo.”
