Ola Uber Competitor App: You can negotiate fares on 'Indrive' ride-hailing app

You can now haggle the fare on the "InDrive" ride-hailing app, which is an intriguing feature. When you enter the pick-up and drop-off locations in the app, InDrive generates a negotiated fare.

An Ola Uber competitor app, "Indrive" a company based in California, has expanded its services to two Indian cities Delhi and Kolkata.

Numerous factors are contributing to an increase in cab and auto fares in cities like New Delhi in 2023. Riding apps like Ola and Uber do not allow for price negotiation. Users can "book city and intercity rides and order delivery or join as a driver or courier," similar to Ola and Uber in terms of functionality.

On the other hand, it demonstrates that "a fair price is the one you agree on not hope for." The app's main USP is that it lets users haggle over fares. The user can mark the displayed fare as unreasonable when scheduling a ride through the "Indrive app". When the desired fare has been updated, the app will suggest it. Assume the cost is $200 to travel from point A to point B. The driver will be informed of the update and given the option of accepting or rejecting the price of $150. In this manner, a compromise can be reached between the customer and the driver.

As previously mentioned, the "InDrive" app allows users to book cabs and cars, much like Uber and Ola. The app was first introduced in Yakutsk, a city in Russia. And later expanded to 47 nations. The corporate headquarters of the company are currently located in Mountain View, California. "InDrive" began expanding its services to more cities in 2022 after rebranding, starting in November 2022 with Delhi.

"InDrive" is a free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app has received over 100 million downloads worldwide, according to Google Play. The app supports Hindi, Bangla, Urdu, and English by default.
