OFSS Bihar 11th class 2026: Check how to apply, direct link, fees, admission criteria and more

The Bihar School Examination Board has commenced the Class 11 admission process for the 2026–28 academic session through its Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS), with the online registration window opening on April 8, 2026. Eligible students can now apply for intermediate courses across affiliated schools and colleges in Bihar via the official portal, ofssbihar.net.

The application link has been activated on the OFSS platform, allowing candidates to fill and submit the Common Application Form (CAF). The centralised system is aimed at simplifying admissions for lakhs of students seeking entry into Science, Commerce, Arts and Agriculture streams, based on their Class 10 board results.

Eligibility and admission criteria

Students who have passed the Class 10 (Matric) examination from BSEB, CBSE, ICSE or any other recognised board are eligible to apply. Admissions will be granted strictly on merit, determined by marks secured in the secondary examination.


The board will publish merit lists in multiple rounds, with seat allotments based on candidates’ preferences and academic performance.

As per the notification, applicants can complete the process through a single online form, enabling them to apply to multiple institutions without submitting separate applications.

OFSS Bihar 2026 fees

Candidates are required to pay a total fee of Rs 350, which includes Rs 150 as the application fee and Rs 200 as the institutional fee.

To ensure convenience, the board has provided various payment options. Students can pay in cash through an e-challan or opt for digital modes such as net banking, debit card or credit card via authorised banking channels.

The OFSS platform facilitates admissions to a wide network of intermediate institutions across Bihar, including government, aided and private schools. With lakhs of seats available, the system is designed to ensure transparency, efficiency and ease in the allocation of seats.
