The London-based technology company on Tuesday announced that it will launch the Phone (4b) on July 7 at 4 pm IST, marking the debut of its new "b" series that is intended to serve as an entry point into the Nothing ecosystem.
The company said the new lineup is designed to bring the core Nothing experience to a new generation of users, with the Phone (4b) representing "the beginning of a user's journey into the Nothing ecosystem."
The launch invite shared by the company features sketches of multiple smartphones, with reports suggesting the handset shown at the top could be the Phone (4b). The sketches appear to show a redesigned camera setup with a vertical camera strip and a separate housing that could accommodate an additional camera sensor and flash.
The design also includes a horizontal strip on the rear panel, prompting speculation that Nothing could be introducing a new lighting element or another signature design feature.

Nothing has already confirmed that the Phone (4b) will retain the company's trademark transparent design language. Earlier teasers hinted at a single rear camera, although more recent sketches suggest the phone could feature a dual-camera setup, potentially combining a primary sensor with a secondary depth sensor.
The company has remained tight-lipped about pricing, but leaks suggest the Phone (4b) could be positioned below the Phone (4a) in India, making it the most affordable gateway into the Nothing ecosystem.
The launch is notable because it comes shortly after Nothing scrapped plans for a new CMF Phone, signalling a greater focus on expanding its core smartphone portfolio.
More details, including specifications, pricing and availability, are expected at the launch event on July 7.
