Nothing Phone 2 likely to launch soon in India, gets BIS certification
Nothing Phone 2 has reportedly received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, indicating that it will be released in India soon.

The purported listing of Nothing Phone 2 on the BIS website was tweeted by a tipster. According to leaked information, the handset with model number AIN065 has received BIS approval. It makes no mention of the handset's specifications. There is no information about when the smartphone will be made available in India.
Nothing's current product portfolio includes the Nothing Phone 1, Ear 1, Ear Stick, and the recently launched Ear 2. Carl Pei, CEO and Founder of Nothing, announced at MWC 2023 that the Nothing Phone 2 would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Series processor.
It is expected to have an AMOLED panel with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The device could be available with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Nothing Phone 2 will also house a 5,000mAh battery.
The phone could support 67W fast charging as well as wireless fast charging. Nothing OS, which is going to be based on Android 13 out of the box, is expected to ship with the mid-range 5G smartphone. The device's optics could include a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. The setup will include optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Because of the features it may offer, the Nothing Phone (2) is anticipated to be more expensive than its predecessor. The Nothing Phone (1) was released in India with a starting price of Rs 32,999.
