Not sorry! Urvashi Rautela's apology video wasn't meant for cricketer Rishabh Pant

Netizens would have believed that the long-drawn feud between actress Urvashi Rautela and cricketer Rishabh Pant had cooled off after a video surfaced - showing the actress with folded hands, but it seems far from over. The actress has once again added fuel to the fire by issuing a clarification. Rautela had earlier said “sorry, I’m sorry” in a video, which many believed was an apology to the cricketer, but the apology wasn't meant for Pant, according to the actress.

Clearing the air on 'sorry' affair, the actress took to Instagram and wrote, “These days official news articles & so called meme pages (worst marketers) are more scripted than movies or a tv show!!! That sorry was for my fans & loved ones that I had nothing to say…”

Earlier in an interview with InstantBollywood, Rautela was asked if she had a message for Pant, to which she first responded saying she had nothing to say to Pant and then followed it up with "sorry, I’m sorry."

Her apology came amid the ongoing spat between the two public figures during which the actress called Pant 'chotu bhaiya' and asked him to 'play bat ball.'

"Chotu bhaiyaa (young brother) should play bat ball. main koyi munni nahi hoon badnaam hone (I am no naive girl to be defamed) with young kiddo darling tere liye #RAKSHABANDHAN mubarak ho," read the caption on Rautela's Instagram account.

It all began when the actress referred to a certain 'Mr RP,' amid rumours that Pant and her had dated, back in 2018.

Responding to a question about attention from paparazzi and rejecting proposals, she mentioned an incident with a ‘Mr RP’.

In an earlier interview Rautela said Pant had waited 10 hours just to meet her.

Though the brawl between actress and her rumoured boyfriend has taken a new turn, there is a flood of memes doing rounds on the Internet on this whole saga.
