Nora Fatehi opens up on her comparison with Malaika Arora, calls it “disrespectful”

Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi during the latest episode of ‘Moving In With Malaika’ has said that she has found her comparisons with Malaika Arora “disrespectful”.

Nora went on to say that Malaika has done things which she could never do. “You [Malaika Arora] are part of the growing legacy of Bollywood, that was a golden time. We talk about the time; we don’t talk about today. It’s not just disrespectful for you, it’s disrespectful for me, because it takes away from the things that I am doing,” she added.

While both actresses, who are known for their spectacular dancing skills, have been seen judging various dance reality shows. Malaika believes that everyone tries to pit them against each other and put them on the show. “If I was on a show, they would make sure Nora was on the show,” Malaika said.


To Nora’s question on if she [Malaika] also feels the same, Malaika goes on to admit that she too has felt bad about the same. “There are days at the end of the day when I say, ‘Oh that job could have been mine and now someone else has it.’ That happens all the time," Malaika answered.

She further adds that things like these can break one. “You know that someone out there is prettier and younger, and you have to deal with that,” Malaika added. Malaika mentioned that she has seen many girls come and go, but she has always managed to stay.

Nora, on being asked about if she ever tried to mould herself after the comparison, said, “I have my own identity and have never thought of going down Malaika’s trajectory.”

Coincidentally, both the bollywood actresses are recently seen as part of Ayushmann Khurrana's film 'An Action Hero.’ While Nora is seen in ‘Jedha Nasha' song, Malaika can be seen in 'Aap Jaisa Koi' song from the same movie.
