The accused woman has been detained for questioning, while police have registered a murder case and launched a detailed investigation into the sequence of events.
Victim Worked in Greater Noida for a Decade
The deceased, identified as Duck Hee Yuh, a native of Cheongju-si in South Korea, had been working with a logistics company in Greater Noida for the past 10 years. He was living with his girlfriend, Lunjeana Pamai (22), from Bishnupur in Manipur, at a flat in ATS Pious Hideways.Police said the couple had been in a live-in relationship for around two years.

Argument Over Drinking Escalated Into Violence
According to police, the couple had met at a party in Gurgaon before entering into a relationship. While Hee was employed, Pamai was not working at the time.However, Hee allegedly became aggressive, leading to a heated argument that soon turned physical. “The woman claimed she was assaulted during the fight and, in retaliation, picked up a knife from the dining table and stabbed him multiple times in the chest,” Kumar said.
Girlfriend Took Injured Man to Hospital With Driver
As Hee collapsed, Pamai reportedly called his driver, Mandeep Singh, and asked him to come to the flat. When Singh arrived, she informed him about the incident.An ambulance was called, and the injured man was taken to the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) along with Pamai and the driver. Doctors, however, declared him dead on arrival.
Case Registered; Family Informed
Following a complaint filed by the driver, a case was registered against Pamai under Section 103 (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Knowledge Park police station.Frequent Arguments Reported, Say Police
Quoting the driver, police said the couple often argued over trivial issues. An officer also referred to an incident last month when Hee allegedly became aggressive and verbally abused his girlfriend.“We are examining all aspects of the case, including past incidents and the exact sequence of events leading to the murder,” a senior police officer said, adding that Pamai remains in custody for further questioning.
