Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, shared details about his son Jeet Adani’s upcoming wedding while responding to reporters' questions. Addressing speculation about whether the event would be a "celebrity Maha Kumbh," he said, “Jeet’s marriage is on February 7th. Our activities are like common people. His marriage will be very simple and with full traditional ways.”

Adani Participates in Maha Kumbh Mela

Adani’s visit to Prayagraj included participating in the Maha Kumbh Mela. He performed Bhandara Seva at the ISKCON Pandal and planned to visit the famous Bade Hanuman Mandir after worshipping at Triveni Sangam. This year, the Adani Group, in collaboration with ISKCON and Geeta Press, is actively serving devotees attending the event. The group is distributing Mahaprasad to 1 lakh devotees daily in partnership with ISKCON and providing 1 crore Aarti collections with Geeta Press.

Taylor Swift’s potential debut in India

In a separate development, global pop sensation Taylor Swift is reportedly in talks to perform at Jeet Adani’s pre-wedding festivities. According to a News18 report, discussions are ongoing between Swift’s team and the Adani family. If confirmed, this would mark Swift’s first performance in India.

Swift, who has a significant following in the country, has never performed in India despite her admiration for Indian culture. Her Eras Tour, which concluded in December 2024, grossed $2 billion and skipped India, focusing on venues in Singapore and Japan. Fans are eagerly anticipating the possibility of her performance, which could make Jeet Adani’s wedding a landmark event for Indian fans.

Background on the couple

Jeet Adani and Diva Shah, who got engaged in March 2023 in Ahmedabad, are set to tie the knot in February. The wedding is expected to be a private yet high-profile affair, with Swift’s rumored involvement adding to the excitement.
