Nita Ambani welcomed India captain Harmanpreet Kaur to the club, complimenting her professionalism and competitive spirit.

Nita Ambani stated after the auction that she had witnessed Rohit progress from a player to a leader at MI, while also welcome Harmanpreet to the team.
She went on to praise Rohit and Harmanpreet expertise, professionalism, and winning mindset, saying she is thrilled to have her on board.
She added, “Both of the players come with great experience, professionalism and a winning mentality. They both are a huge inspiration to all our youngsters. So, we are really excited and happy to have both these players”.
Nita Ambani was accompanied at the auction by Akash Ambani, as well as Mahela Jayawardene, MI’s Global Head of Performance, and the newly created coaching staff for the women’s team - Charlotte Edwards (Head Coach of MI in WPL), Jhulan Goswami (Team Mentor and Bowling Coach), and Devieka Palshikaar (Batting Coach).
