NIOS Class 10, 12 results out: Check how to check scorecard, direct link and revaluation process, fees

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared the Class 10 and Class 12 results for the October–November 2025 public examinations. The results are available on the official websites nios.ac.in and results.nios.ac.in. Students can check their marks using their enrolment number.

The online scorecard displays subject-wise marks and result status. NIOS has clarified that the online result is provisional, and original marksheets will be issued later through study centres or regional offices as per the existing process. Students have been advised to verify all details carefully and report any errors within the stipulated time.

• The scorecard will appear on the screen.
• Download and save a copy for future reference.

Result correction, rechecking and re-evaluation

NIOS allows result correction for data-related errors such as missing practical marks, tutor-marked assignment marks, transfer of credit marks, or incorrect absence status. Correction requests must be submitted online within 30 days of result declaration, with a fee of Rs 50 per request. Requests submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

For students dissatisfied with their marks, NIOS provides rechecking and re-evaluation options. Rechecking, which covers verification of marks totaling and evaluation status, costs Rs 400 per subject. Re-evaluation involves a fresh evaluation of the answer script and costs Rs 1000 per subject for public exams and Rs 1200 per subject for on-demand exams, along with an online processing fee of Rs 50 per request.

Applications for rechecking and re-evaluation must be submitted within the time period announced by NIOS, and any revised result will be updated on the official website.
