Nike to launch first ever NFT sneakers 'Our Force 1', here's when it will be available

Footwear giant Nike is all set to launch the first ever NFT sneaker collection. The new series of sneakers will be called Our Force 1 (OF1), inspired by its own superhit Air Force 1 collection.

The digital collection of Nike is part of the company’s .SWOOSH digital platform, where it will be available for sale.

A company official tweeted a glimpse of the new Nike collection. He wrote, "Introducing our first Nike @dotSWOOSH virtual creations collection, the Our Force 1, inspired by the iconic AF1 @Nike".

When will the Nike NFT sneaker collection be available online?

The Nike NFT sneaker collection will be available from May 10, 2023 onwards. For .SWOOSH members, the Nike NFT shoes will be exclusively on sale two days earlier i.e. May 2023 onwards.

The Nike Our Force 1 sneaker collection will come in two 'digital boxes' for .SWOOSH members – the Classic Remix box and the New Wave box. The boxes are priced at US$19.82 each, and contain a digital OF 1 version of the Air Force 1 collection.

All .SWOOSH members will be able to open their Nike OF1 sneaker box to check out which OF 1 shoe it contains, as well as to learn about its features.

The company said that in future, special access to physical products and experiences will be provided for .SWOOSH members.
