Nickelodeon's 'Drake & Josh' star Drake Bell found safe. See what happened

Drake Bell, known for his roles in Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh and The Amanda Show, was reported "missing and endangered" by the Daytona Beach Police Department in a Facebook post on Thursday. However, the reports circulating have declared him safe.

Later on Thursday, Bell responded over his disappearance on Twitter, with a message that read: "You leave your phone in the car and don't answer for the night and this?" along with a laughing emoji.

The original police report stated that Jared Drake Bell, also known as actor Drake Bell, was traveling in a 2022 gray BMW and his last known location was possibly the vicinity of Mainland High School on April 12, 2023, just before 9 pm.


Drake Bell became famous for his role as Josh Peck's co-star in "Drake & Josh," a Nickelodeon series that was broadcasted for four seasons and a total of 56 episodes from 2004 to 2007.

Before leading his own show, he was part of the cast of the network's "The Amanda Show." After "Drake & Josh," Bell continued working with Nickelodeon, starring as Timmy Turner in "The Fairly OddParents."

Bell entered a guilty plea for a felony charge of attempting to endanger children and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating harmful matter to juveniles in June 2021, following which he received a sentence of two years of probation along with 200 hours of community service.

In a separate incident in 2015, Bell was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and posted a bail amounting to $20,000. He admitted no contest to a misdemeanor and had to serve four days in jail.
