Messages that use government or regulatory body logos can appear authentic, but their appearance alone does not establish that they are genuine.People should check the RBI's official website and verified social media accounts for announcements concerning currency notes, banking rules and other financial matters. They can also refer to PIB Fact Check for clarifications on misleading claims involving government institutions.
Avoid forwarding messages that contain unverified claims, particularly when they could cause unnecessary concern about cash availability or banking services.
