A host of fresh OTT releases are set to make their debut this Friday, October 10, 2025, across major streaming platforms such as JioHotstar, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+. The new lineup promises a wide variety of content, from fantasy adventures and intense crime thrillers to heartfelt romances, documentaries, and animated epics — catering to every kind of viewer.

JioHotStar Launches

On JioHotstar, viewers can look forward to Mirai, a Telugu fantasy action thriller starring Teja Sajja. The story follows Vedha, an orphan whose life changes when he learns he must safeguard nine sacred scriptures from a dark force seeking divine power. Alongside it, the platform will stream Search: The Naina Murder Case, a gripping crime drama led by Konkona Sensharma. The series revolves around ACP Sanyukta Das, a determined police officer investigating the mysterious death of a young woman found in a politician’s car. The show draws inspiration from the acclaimed Danish series The Killing, blending suspense, politics, and emotional intensity.

Netflix Launches

Netflix’s new slate includes Old Money, a Turkish romantic drama starring Aslı Enver and Engin Akyürek. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Istanbul, the series explores the complex relationship between Osman, a self-made businessman, and Nihal, a diplomat from an elite family. Another Netflix addition, The Woman in Cabin 10, brings psychological intrigue to the screen. Based on Ruth Ware’s bestselling novel, it follows journalist Laura Blacklock, who suspects she witnessed a murder aboard a luxury cruise ship — only to face disbelief as every passenger is accounted for. Also arriving on Netflix is Kurukshetra: The Great War of Mahabharata, an animated retelling of the legendary epic. The show revisits the 18-day battle through multiple perspectives, highlighting moral dilemmas, heroic rivalries, and the human cost of war.

Amazon Prime Video Releases

Amazon Prime Video will premiere John Candy: I Like Me, a documentary exploring the life and legacy of beloved Canadian actor John Candy. Featuring rare footage and intimate interviews, the film captures both his comedic genius and personal challenges.

Apple TV+ Releases

On Apple TV+, The Last Frontier takes viewers to Alaska’s unforgiving wilderness. When a prison transport plane crashes, U.S. Marshal Frank Remnick must hunt down escaped convicts while protecting a small, isolated community.
