New Emojis on Samsung devices: Here's all you need to know about them
Emojipedia has brought a new batch of emojis. All Samsung Unicode 15 supporting devices will be the first to get them. Read ahead to know why.

This means that Samsung devices will be the first ones to have the updated emojis, as the latest update brought by Samsung is One UI 5-based.
As per the news of Android Authority, it was announced by Emojipedia in September that a new collection of emojis would be released via Unicode 15. This Android version is definitive for representing, handling text, and encoding.
Google, in September, announced that the Unicode 15 support feature would be put forward for Android by December.
However, it seems that Samsung couldn't wait any longer, and it has already made its One UI 5 devices support Unicode 15, as reported by the blog of Emojipedia.
There are only 15 emojis available in the Unicode 15 version. However, with the help of One UI 5, the devices that support it will get almost 138 new and upgraded emojis.
In 2021, Samsung allegedly ignored many emojis accompanied by Unicorn 14. The same 107 emojis would be brought back with the One UI 5.
Samsung's Maintenance Mode
To protect users' personal data during system updates or servicing of phones, Samsung recently incorporated a Maintenance Mode for devices that support One UI 5.
