Netizens trolled Babar Azam, Pakistani cricket team captain for getting less salary than Indian cricket player, Smriti Mandhana. Smriti was recently auctioned as the costliest player at WPL by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 3.40 crore.

Netizens compared Smriti’s salary with Babar's reported PSL salary of Rs 1.40 crore and trolled him for being paid less. One user posted a photo of Babar alongside Smriti and compared Babar's PSL salary against Smriti’s salary of Rs 3.4 crore.

Even though Babar is the most expensive player in the PSL, his salary is almost three times less than Smriti’s salary. The other players of WPL like Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma and Harmanpreet Kaur were also auctioned at a higher price than the Pakistani cricket team captain, Babar.
Deepti Sharma was auctioned by UP Warriorz at Rs 2.60 crore, Harmanpreet Kaur was auctioned to Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.80 crore, Jemimah Rodrigues was auctioned at Rs 2.20 crores to Delhi Capitals and Shafali Verma was auctioned by Delhi Capitals at Rs 2 crore.
