Netizens criticised the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards for not nominating and honouring the SS Rajamouli-directed hit Telugu movie, RRR. The movie did not even get nominated at BAFTA 2023. The fans reacted to this and called the BAFTA Awards a joke and trolled it on Twitter.

One of the fans reacted and said that BAFTA is a joke as it did not even give a single nomination to RRR and the maverick. Another user wrote that RRR shows Britishers in a negative light and that could be the reason that BAFTA did not have courage to nominate the movie.
