Netizens criticise “Achha Sila Diya” remake featuring Nora Fatehi and Rajkummar Rao, say ‘Sonu Nigam is OG King’

T-Series has released a cover of the iconic song 'Achha Sila Diya' with Nora Fatehi and Rajkummar Rao. The new version of the song, which has B Praak's singing and Jaani's lyrics, likewise tells the narrative of betrayal. Arvindr Khaira directed the single video 'Achha Sila Diya'. The song had 12 million views within a day of its release.

Ataullah Khan, a Pakistani artist, initially sang the song. The long video stars Rajkummar Rao and Nora Fatehi as loving partners, with Nora once again betraying the male protagonist, as she did in the classic Arijit Singh song ‘Pachtaoge’.

The original song ‘Achha Sila Diya’ is from the film Bewafa Sanam, starring producer Bhushan Kumar's uncle, Krishan Kumar. The original song was hugely successful since it included Sonu Nigam's vocals.
