Netflix confirms Devil May Cry Season 3: Adi Shankar reveals final chapter of Force Edge Saga
Netflix has officially renewed Devil May Cry for a third and final season, concluding Dante's journey as planned. Showrunner Adi Shankar confirmed the upcoming installment will complete the "Force Edge Saga," a three-part narrative inspired by Dan...

Sharing the news on X, Netflix wrote: "Jackpot. DEVIL MAY CRY will return for its third and final season, coming soon to Netflix."
Alongside the renewal announcement, Shankar revealed that the show's structure had been hiding in plain sight through the episode titles and overarching themes.
"For those of you who have been paying attention to the episode names, I have been showing you the structure the entire time. This was always Dante's Divine Comedy with guns and a red coat."
According to the showrunner, each season represents a chapter of the classic literary work:
Season 2 — Purgatorio
Season 3 — Paradiso
Shankar further explained that the three seasons collectively form "The Force Edge Saga," which was conceived as "a movie trilogy disguised as a television series."
The animated series follows Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire who finds himself at the center of a looming conflict between the human world and the demon realm. As sinister forces attempt to tear open a portal between the two dimensions, Dante must stop a catastrophe that could consume both worlds.
The voice cast includes Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Robbie Daymond as Vergil and Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady, while animation production is handled by Studio Mir.
